Core2MaxPerf is a freeware CPU tester app and benchmarker developed by Matthias Withopf for Windows. It's light on system resources, portable and powerful.

A testing tool for Intel i3, i5, 17 and Core 2 processors
Core2MaxPerf is a small, easy to use test application specially designed for maximum CPU usage. This tool works only for Intel's Core 2 - and Core i3/i5/i7 processors, not for the Core processors.
Features of Core2MaxPerf
- Interface: The interface is based on a regular window with a plain and simple structure.
- Lightweight: The application is lightweight and does not consume much of your computer's resources.
- Maximum CPU load: Runs a timer to benchmark the maximum load active for the selected number of processors.
- No additional features: Does not come equipped with additional features for running a benchmark on CPUs.
- No installation required: Does not require installation, you can simply drop the executable file in any location on the hard disk and click it to run.
- No registry entries: Does not create new registry entries, leaving the hard disk clean after removal.
- No statistics: Does not measure the workload to create statistics.
- Number of CPU cores selection: Allows you to select the number of CPU cores and test them with the simple click of a button.
- Portability: Can be saved to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit and run on any workstation without prior installation.
- Processor support: Offers support for Intel Core Duo, i3, i5 and i7
Compatibility and License
Core2MaxPerf is provided under a freeware license on Windows from benchmark software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.11 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can Core2MaxPerf run on?
Core2MaxPerf can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
